• BUSL Group Deal – designed for business owners who want to concentrate on running their own businesses and hand the headache of dealing with electricity gas suppliers over to BUSL. The Group Deal has been developed with two important aims in mind:

a. Minimising the cost of electricity and gas
b. Minimising the paperwork for business owners

• Individual Brokerage - for businesses that want to have more involvement in the choice of electricity and gas suppliers and contracts.

Normally BUSL is paid directly by suppliers, so there are no invoices to your business for the following services:

• Supplier Selection - to include only those that can successfully transfer sites and bill accurately.
• Contract Negotiation - advice on the optimum timing for negotiating contracts, the best contract start dates and term.
• Tender Analysis – listing of selected suppliers ranked in order of annual estimated cost by site or overall group.
• Site Transfer – management of transfer of sites to new supplier to ensure a smooth switch over and to provide feedback to clients on progress.
• Contract Renewal – advice on strategy for contract renewal as soon as the current contract has commenced.

Further services can be offered to you at additional cost:

• Markets – commentary on the short, medium and long term influences on market prices for oil, electricity and gas.
• Reducing energy cost and consumption:

- Report on the energy cost and consumption for each site against a standard measure for your sector, such as floor area, turnover or number of beds.
- Benchmark cost and consumption at sites.
- Highlight the sites where energy efficiency improvement measures would bring the greatest benefit.
- Report on trends in energy costs and consumption at sites.
- Report on cost effectiveness of measures taken to reduce energy consumption.
- Set energy cost budgets and report on actual cost against budget figures.

• Invoice Approval – checking and approval of supplier invoices to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. Commentary on site available capacity, power factor and load factor. Checking for appropriate VAT and Climate Change Levy rates.
• Accruals – calculation of cost accruals for all sites with half-hourly metering for electricity and daily read meters for gas.
